Monument to the Commander of the Lithuanian Freedom Army Kazys Veverskis

The monument, created of black metal, was built on the left bank of the Nevėžis, at the border of the Nevėžis Landscape Reserve, at the place where in 1944 Kazys Veverskis, commander of the LLA, was killed. The sword-shaped monument with the bird of freedom rising above it was created by sculptor Marijus Petrauskas and architect Violeta Beigienė. The project was financed by Kaunas District Municipality.
